Who we are

This site is run by Built By Unicorns Ltd, trading as Compyle, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17384239. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect

When you send the enquiry form, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, agency name and website, your role, the staff and revenue bands you choose, when you might want to sell, and your message.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tags.

Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the site.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry only to reply to you and to talk with you about your agency. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.

We don't sell your details, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

How the form works

The form doesn't save your enquiry on this site or in a database. It passes your enquiry to Resend, an email delivery service, which sends it to our mailbox as an email. Resend and Netlify act as our processors. They may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry email for as long as we're talking with you. If a conversation doesn't go further, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to have them deleted. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, send a message through the enquiry form and say it is a privacy request.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
